SAFETY & QUALITY MANAGEMENT
The safety of our Employees, Clients and Stakeholders is our primary focus at Precision Geomatics. Continuously upholding the highest standards of safety, PGI corporately holds a Certificate of Recognition (C.O.R.) from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. We maintain current memberships on ISNetworld, Avetta and ComplyWorks for convenient access to safety information.
PGI ensures all our field staff and safety sensitive personnel maintain current certification for all client specific requirements and industry safety standards. It is mandatory that all Precision Geomatics employees follow all safety precautions and go thorough on-site job hazard assessments, attend all safety training, client field meetings and reviews. We are proud to provide a safe work environment for all our employees and the clients we work with.
The minimum safety prerequisite for all field staff being fit for duty are; H2S, First Aid, WHIMS and PST. They must be certified in ATV, snowmobile, chainsaw and line locating before operating any of this equipment. All drivers’ abstracts are reviewed annually.
Our in-house Safety Manager holds a current Canadian Registered Safety professional (CRSP) Designation and is a Certified National Construction Safety Officer and Emergency Medical Responder.
